How to Personalize your Map

1// Quote Personalization

We love personalizing your map! Choose from 7 Quote & Title styles (Anchor, ship, balloon, aircraft, etc…). If you choose option 6 or 7, we will provide you with 20 hand-picked travel quotes to help you find a the quote that speaks to you!

If you want to use your own logo, just pick the option #7: Your Logo and send us your logo via email to contact@canvasartbay.com after placing your order. Please note that we accept only .pdf and .svg logo files.

You can also remove the title & quote if you want a simple map design. Just choose option #8: NO QUOTE in the “Quote Design” select box.

Already have a travel quote in mind? Just, write it down in the ”Enter Your Custom Text” field, and we will incorporate it into your map.

2// Compass & Legend Personalization

The travel legend is incorporated inside the compass (see product images). You can choose from 4 compass types, depending on how many elements you want to include in the legend.

The default legend text is: Travel Planned / Travel Taken; but you can change it to your preference.

4// Non-personalized Map

If you choose the "No Quote" option with No personalization requested, you will get the default vintage world map with compass placed at the left-side of the canvas. The compass will NOT contain any legend or text (We will use Compass #4 displayed in the listing images).

* Note: The un-stretched canvas has 1.5" extra printed canvas material around the edges, so you can frame/wrap it easily without eating up the map size.)

* Note: The canvas wrap is made of 1-inch or 1.5-inch thick canvas gallery wrap + foam-board backing. You can choose the thickness of the canvas when placing the order.

• Medium: External Frame size= 41" x 25" x 1.3" Thick (104 x 64 x 3.5) cm.
• Large: External Frame size= 49" x 30" x 1.3" Thick (125 x 76 x 3.5) cm.
• Extra Large: External Frame size= 61" x 37" x 2" Thick (155 x 94 x 5) cm.

* Note: The framed canvas is made of 1-inch thick canvas gallery wrap + foam-board backing + hardwood frame. Our frames are made of genuine hardwood, and are available in 5 different colors: Matte Black, Matte White, Classic Gold, Walnut Brown, Natural Beige. (Sizes in cm are approximate)

200 Push Pins Included

Your map comes with 200 push pins of 4 different colors: 50 pins of each color. Push pins are included in the ROLLED versions too.

Review Your Map Before Printing

All custom map orders will be proofed out before printing. There is no Character Limit on the text quote or the legend, but the font size will be adjusted accordingly. That’s why we recommend using the displayed examples as your guide to keep the text readable.

We will send you a proof of your custom map via email before printing it (usually 1-3 days after placing the order). Once you approve the proof, we will print it. Please make sure to check your email on-time to avoid delays.
